Türkiye’de hangi ikamet izni ile kalınırsa kalınsın, çalışma izni olmadan çalışmak yasaktır.
Kendi işyerini açmak isteyen veya aile ikamet izni sahibi yabancılar da çalışmak isterlerse, onlarda çalışma iznine başvurmak zorundadırlar. Aksi takdirde ikametleri iptal edilebilir, idari
gözetim altına alınıp deport süreci başlatılabilir.
İzinsiz çalışma tespit edildiğinde, ikamet tezkeresinin alış amacına bakılmaksızın hem işverene hem de yabancıya idari para cezası uygulanır. İşyerinin kapatılmasına kadar giden
süreçler yaşanabilir.

A Residence Permit is not a Work Permit!
Regardless of the type of residence permit held in Turkey, it is illegal to work without a work permit.
Foreign nationals who wish to set up their own business or who hold a family residence permit must also apply for a work permit if they wish to work. Otherwise, their residence
permits may be revoked, they may be placed under administrative supervision, and deportation proceedings may be initiated. Where unauthorised work is detected, an administrative fine is imposed on both the employer and the foreign national, regardless of the purpose for which the residence permit was issued. Situations may arise that lead to the closure of the workplace.
