Foreign domestic workers may wish to change employers for any reason while their work permits are still valid.
However, the written consent of the current employer is required for this change to be made. Applications submitted without this approval will be rejected by the Ministry of Labor.
If the current employer terminates the work permit before the change, the existing work permit will be automatically cancelled, and the new employer will not be able to apply for a permit for the person without one.
